Flight Instructor Airplane ACS-25

This Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Flight Instructor Airplane Airman Certification Standards (ACS-25) supersedes the Practical Test Standars (8081-6DS and 8081-6DM), and is the guide for students, instructors, and evaluators to understand what applicants must know, do, and consider to pass their FAA Knowledge Exam and practical (checkride) and earn their flight instructor certificate in the airplane category, single and multi-engine land and sea (ASEL, ASES, AMEL, AMES) classes. Includes Fundamentals of Instructing (FOI) and Flight Instructor Airplane single-engine and multi-engine (CFI and MEI) tests. This ACS includes the aeronautical knowledge, risk management, and flight proficiency standards necessary for certification, ACS codes, and the Companion Guide (FAA-G-ACS-2).
