ASA provides free updates to question databases. The files below are for use with our 2025-2026 and 2024 Test Preps for pilots and Test Guides for mechanics. If you have a 2025 book, you will only need the 2025 question updates. If you have a 2024 book, use both the 2025 and 2024 updates. The 2025 Test Preps and Test Guides are now shipping, to include the changes identified with these updates. The next update is expected June 2025.

If you have Prepware, you will need to use the software update process. Windows users go to “Help/Check for Updates”; Mac users go to the “Prepware” menu and then “Check for Updates”).
